Import problems

  • Confirm that the selected file is a valid IPA or provisioning profile.
  • For a remote source, use a reachable HTTPS URL and ensure you are authorized to access and inspect the file.
  • If a background download was interrupted, reopen AppSeal and retry from the Activity screen.

Purchases and restoration

Open Settings in AppSeal and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. TestFlight purchases operate in Apple’s sandbox environment.

Storage and deletion

Delete an inspection from Library or its detail screen to remove its saved report and App-owned cleanup data. Settings can clear IPA copies downloaded and retained by AppSeal. Original files selected from Files are not removed.

Reminders

Expiration reminders require notification permission. You can review permission and default reminder settings in AppSeal Settings and the iOS Settings app.

AppSeal reports signing metadata found in the inspected package. It does not claim to perform complete certificate-chain trust validation.

When contacting support

Please include your iOS version, AppSeal version, the input type, and the displayed error message. Do not email proprietary IPA files, private keys, passwords, or other secrets.
