Privacy Policy

AppSeal is designed to inspect app packages locally and minimize data handling outside your device.

1. Data processed on your device

When you choose an IPA package, provisioning profile, or manifest URL, AppSeal may process the file contents and derived metadata, including app identifiers, versions, signing certificates, entitlements, embedded extensions, and expiration dates. Inspection results, preferences, reminders, and App-managed downloaded copies are stored locally in the App’s container.

2. Data we do not collect

The developer does not operate an AppSeal account system or upload endpoint. AppSeal does not send imported files or inspection results to the developer. It does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking, and the developer does not sell personal data.

3. Network requests

If you provide a remote URL, AppSeal connects directly to that URL to retrieve the requested manifest or IPA file. The destination server and network provider may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and request headers under their own policies. This information is not received by the AppSeal developer.

4. Purchases and notifications

In-App Purchases are provided by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes account and payment information; AppSeal receives product information and verified transaction or entitlement status, not payment-card details. Expiration reminders use Apple’s local notification system and are scheduled on your device.

5. Retention and deletion

Inspection records and App-managed downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them in AppSeal, clear retained files in Settings, or uninstall the App. Files selected from the Files app are not deleted by AppSeal. Because the developer does not receive a server copy, there is no developer-held inspection data to request for deletion.

6. Service providers

Apple provides distribution, purchases, and operating-system services. This policy and support website are hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard website request metadata to deliver and secure the pages. ZIPFoundation is used locally to read ZIP-based IPA packages and does not transmit files.

7. Children

AppSeal does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require an account or ask for age information.

8. Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

5. 保留与删除

检查记录和由 App 管理的下载文件会保留在设备上，直到你在 AppSeal 中删除记录、在设置中清除保留文件，或卸载 App。AppSeal 不会删除你从“文件”App 选择的原始文件。由于开发者未收到服务器副本，因此不存在需要向开发者申请删除的检查数据。

6. 服务提供商

Apple 提供分发、购买和操作系统服务。本隐私政策及支持网站由 Cloudflare 托管，Cloudflare 可能为交付和保护网页而处理标准的网站请求元数据。ZIPFoundation 仅在本地读取基于 ZIP 的 IPA 安装包，不会传输文件。

7. 儿童隐私

AppSeal 不会有意收集儿童个人信息。App 不要求注册账号，也不询问年龄。

8. 政策变更

如有重大变更，我们将在本页面更新内容和生效日期。
